Resident of Martakert Dies After Hitting Mine While Operating Excavator

On January 12, 2021, around 17:50, a resident of Martakert city, identified as M.M., was conducting earthworks with an excavator in the area known as "Martakert Bagh" within the administrative territory of Martakert city. Preliminary reports indicate that he detonated a mine, resulting in various degrees of burns to his body, and he died at the scene. This information has been reported by the Artsakh Investigative Committee.

Materials are being prepared in the second investigative department of the territorial investigative department of the Artsakh Investigative Committee regarding the incident.
