A Very Specific Targeted Shooting by Azerbaijan: Vahram Poghosyan Provides Details

Today, around 12:00 PM, Azerbaijan grossly violated the ceasefire regime. "We see this as a consequence of the provocations carried out by the opponent in recent days. As we know, recently shots were fired from Shushi's air, and today, there has been a very specific targeted shooting, which is definitely worthy of criticism because it indicates Azerbaijan's violation not only of the ceasefire regime but also of all agreements and a disrespectful attitude towards the peacekeeping forces," stated Vahram Poghosyan, spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh, to Aysor.am.

He noted that they have already contacted the Russian peacekeeping forces. "The leadership of the peacekeeping forces is already informed about the situation, and we hope that this incident will not go unanswered because if such provocations continue, the consequences could be much worse. We must make every effort to exclude such provocations and to maintain peace and stability in the region," added Vahram Poghosyan.

It is worth mentioning that as a result of the gross violation of the ceasefire regime by the opponent, a soldier, born in 2000, Vardan Vachagani Kiriakosyan, was injured by gunfire. The wounded soldier was immediately transferred to a military hospital and successfully underwent surgery. His condition is assessed as stable but serious.
