Minister of Health of Artsakh Visits Martuni Regional Medical Center
The newly appointed Minister of Health of Artsakh, Mikayel Hayriyan, along with the head of the ministry's staff, Armen Arakelyan, visited the Martuni Regional Medical Center. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Artsakh.
During the visit, the minister acquainted himself with the building conditions of the medical facility, staffing and technical resources, medication supply, and the services provided, and he also met with patients.
As a result of discussions with the management and medical staff of the facility, the minister highlighted the staffing shortages that must be addressed to ensure adequate medical care for the residents of the region, promising to fill these gaps in the shortest possible time.
The issue of energy supply for the Martuni anti-epidemic station was resolved on site, and the repairs of the damaged windows of the Martuni Regional Medical Center, initiated by the International Committee of the Red Cross's representative office in Artsakh, were completed.
The minister expressed his gratitude for the heroic efforts of the staff of the Martuni Regional Medical Center in responding to the hardships faced by Artsakh since September 27, 2020, assuring that every healthcare worker will be under the ministry's attention and protection.
