If the military leadership thinks it can mobilize the armed forces under this government, then they are not in control of the situation: T. Abrahamyan
The head of the 'Henarq' analytical center, Tigran Abrahamyan, has made a Facebook post addressing the potential for reforms in the Armed Forces of Armenia. The post states:
'There has been no response from the Armed Forces regarding whether they have closed the ammunition and arms warehouses and are not providing them to volunteer units, as the Prime Minister presents under unverified information. Does the military command realize that recently there has been an increasing trend in the official policy course to shift the blame for the defeat in war and the complete collapse of the system onto them?
Does the Chief of the General Staff know that those entering various government offices here and there claim that the main responsibility for our defeat lies with the General Staff, commanders, and officers?' Does the military leadership believe that under this government, they have the capability to mobilize the armed forces, implement reforms, and address serious issues? I will say unequivocally — NO. If they hold such views in the General Staff or the Ministry of Defense, then I must say — you are people who are unaware and do not control the situation; moreover, your presence is an additional threat to our country and people.'
