21-Year-Old Driver Hits Pedestrian with Volkswagen

Today, December 29, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the Lori region. Around 07:40, 21-year-old Arthur Bakhchinyan, a resident of Vanadzor, hit a pedestrian, 70-year-old Vaghinak Mkhoian, with his Volkswagen Caddy in front of the address Halabyan 1 in Vanadzor.

According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene. He called for an ambulance and assisted the medical personnel who arrived quickly at the scene to transport the injured to the 'Vanadzor' medical center; however, he succumbed to his injuries on the way.
