Armenia's Ombudsman's Activities Ranked Among Global Leaders
I am pleased to inform that the Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT, headquartered in Geneva), a prestigious international organization, has recognized the activities of Armenia's Human Rights Defender during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the national preventive mechanism (NPM) in closed institutions, placing them among the international leaders in the field. This announcement was made by Armenia's Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan on his Facebook page.
“I would like to thank our partners at the Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) for acknowledging our work. I congratulate our team for these achievements, despite the difficult conditions and challenges of this year,” wrote Tatoyan.
