Major Car Accident in Armavir Region: Tractor and Opel Vectra Collide, Injuries Reported

On December 26, a major car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 11:00 AM, on the 21st kilometer of the Yerevan-Armavir highway, a collision took place between an Opel Vectra driven by 27-year-old Jora Simonyan and a Caterpillar tractor operated by 45-year-old Barkhudar Babasyan, both residents of Aragatsotn region.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, J. Simonyan and his passenger, 23-year-old L. G. from Aragatsotn, were transferred to the Vagharsapat medical center for medical assistance. G. Shamshyan reports that J. Simonyan works in the General Department of Protection of the Armenian Police in the Ashtarak Protection Division.
