More Than 44,000 People Have Returned to Artsakh, Assistance Provided to 902 Residents
Following the signing of a trilateral statement by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia, more than 44,000 residents of Artsakh have returned to the region with the help of Russian peacekeepers. According to a report from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their missions in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
The Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at 23 observation posts and overseeing the ceasefire regime. The ceasefire is being maintained along the entire length of the contact line. As of today, the Russian peacekeeping mission has ensured the safe return of over 44,000 refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh.
A hotline has been established to collect information about participants in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the missing persons. Since its inception, it has received 540 requests, which have been forwarded to the search teams of the Reconciliation Center.
The medical brigade of the Russian mission has provided medical assistance to 902 residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including 115 children.
