On December 24, around 16:30, a Gazelle passenger minibus, loaded with vegetables, veered off the road and fell down a slope into a territory adjacent to the railway tracks in the Sanahin-Tumanyan area of Lori Province, Armenia.
According to the driver, Samvel P. from the town of Spitak, he lost control of the vehicle after being distracted by his mobile phone. Construction work is ongoing in this section of the highway, where the upper layer of the road is being widened and changed.

The South Caucasus Railway takes all necessary measures to ensure the safety of train operations and urges drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules.
