The Dismissal of the Head of the Aragatsotn Regional Police Department Has Completely Different Reasons: Police

Information has circulated on social media and in mass media regarding the dismissal of Janik Marutyan, the head of the Aragatsotn regional police department, which occurred at his own request. This was reported by the police's press service.

The applicant has stated certain reasons for this decision, which do not correspond to reality at all. The dismissal of Janik Marutyan is attributed to entirely different reasons, in connection with which a service investigation is underway.

It is worth recalling that Colonel Janik Marutyan stated, “It is beneath the dignity of a soldier to have a prime minister who has broken the spine of the Armenian people and kneels before the enemy.”
