Ombudsman's Rapid Response Teams Deployed to Police Stations
In light of several reports addressed to the Office of the Human Rights Defender and the results of observations, rapid response teams have been dispatched to police stations upon the Ombudsman's instruction.
Individual interviews will be conducted with the detained citizens to investigate the grounds for their detention and the status of their rights protection.
The Office of the Human Rights Defender continues to monitor ongoing protests.
