Turkish Military Convoy of About 20 Vehicles Crosses Syrian Border Heading to Idlib: SOHR
Activists from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) have reported on a Turkish convoy consisting of around 20 transport vehicles transporting military equipment, which was observed entering Syrian territory. According to their information, the convoy crossed the Syrian border at the 'Kafr Lusin' checkpoint in the first half of the day on December 3, heading towards Idlib.
The vehicles were moving towards Turkish military observation posts located in the Jabal al-Zawiya area of the Syrian province. Additionally, activists from the Syrian observatory have identified that Turkish forces have been deployed along the Aleppo-Latakia international highway. Turkey continues to send military forces to the northwestern region of Syria, increasing the presence of its military in the Idlib 'de-escalation zone' to 7,545 troops.
