Gayane Abrahamyan Submits Resignation Letter
In accordance with the first part of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, Gayane Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, submitted her resignation letter on November 17. This was reported by the press and communications department of the National Assembly.
According to the second part of Article 155 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure, if the member withdraws the resignation in writing within one week after its announcement, the Speaker of the National Assembly will make a statement. If the resignation is not withdrawn, a record regarding the termination of the powers of the member will be drawn up, which the Speaker of the National Assembly will sign and publish. The resignation will be considered accepted from the moment the record is published.
