Considering the Current Grave Situation and to Avoid Losing Artsakh Completely, I Have Given My Consent to Cease the War

Dear compatriots,

Today, I have been in discussions all day long with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding our actions aimed at ceasing hostilities. I have also held preliminary discussions with the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh and received overwhelming consent from the majority of lawmakers. Given the current grave situation and to avoid further massive human losses and the complete loss of Artsakh, I have given my consent to cease the war hours ago.

As for the signed trilateral statement, I will elaborate on that in detail later. My deepest condolences and pride go out to the relatives of our martyrs and the entire nation. We still have time to engage in dialogue with the families of the fallen heroes and our military personnel about our future actions. I bow to all those who contributed in any way to the defense of the Homeland.
