The Enemy's Offensive Momentum Has Been Broken By Us: Arzrun Hovhannisyan Details
Military operations have continued in the southern direction, and the work of sabotage groups towards the previously mentioned villages is ongoing. These operations are characterized by localized, slow, and not intense but persistent activity. I cannot currently specify any particular developments in this direction. This was stated by the Armenian Ministry of Defense representative Arzrun Hovhannisyan during a press conference.
He noted that the military actions do not possess the same density, scope, momentum, or dynamics. They are localized but continuous. Sabotage groups, artillery, and partially aerial forces are being utilized.
"The enemy's offensive momentum has been broken by us. Now, the slow local creeping operations continue. It is not easy to neutralize the flow of sabotage groups in mountainous forested areas all at once, but battles continue—slowly, with certain small clashes and occasional close combat in some areas," he said, adding, "We will not take revenge on peaceful civilians. Our fight will be against the enemy that has encroached upon our home."
At the end of his speech, Arzrun Hovhannisyan emphasized: "Yes, the fight is long, it is not lightning-fast; we will not defeat them in a matter of days, but we will prevail."
