Attempts by Azerbaijan's military-political leadership to take lives in Artsakh will fail: RA Foreign Ministry
Today, October 28, the Azerbaijani armed forces repeatedly bombed and shelled the capital of the Republic of Artsakh, Stepanakert, and the second-largest city, Shushi. Strikes were directed at residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure, including the maternity hospital in Stepanakert. There are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
This act of war, a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and customary law, clearly demonstrates that Azerbaijan's target in Artsakh is the people—newborns, mothers, and the elderly. The attempts by Azerbaijan's military-political leadership to take lives in Artsakh will fail, and those responsible will be held accountable.
