Call to the International Community to Recognize the Independence of the Republic of Artsakh: Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the international community to recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh to ensure the rights to life and peaceful development of the citizens of Artsakh. This was stated in a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"In the current circumstances, the international recognition of Artsakh is the only effective mechanism for restoring peace and security in the region," the statement reads.
It is noteworthy that in the early hours of September 27, Azerbaijan launched an attack towards Artsakh, violating all international obligations, with the direct participation of the Turkish army and terrorists brought from the Middle East. During this time, both Artsakh and Armenian settlements have been repeatedly shelled, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries among peaceful civilians, with tens of buildings destroyed and significant damage inflicted on civilian infrastructure.
The Armenian Armed Forces are engaged in heroic and tenacious combat against the enemy, inflicting severe losses on their manpower and equipment.
