Positional Changes Occur Frequently, No Special Fixation Needed: Arzrun Hovhannisyan
There are no such intense military operations unfolding on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, however, we are monitoring and controlling the enemy's actions. This was stated today by the Ministry of Defense representative Arzrun Hovhannisyan during a press conference.
“Our armed forces here are performing their duties at a high level. There is no need to panic; any minor attempt is promptly halted,” he said.
In response to a question about the enemy's positions, Hovhannisyan said he could not provide tactical lines on any direction. “I cannot specify who is at which position at any given moment. Heavy and stubborn battles are ongoing, positional changes occur often, so there is no need to particularly fixate on this. In such a large war, positional changes are a natural phenomenon; we might seize this position in one hour, and an hour later we might leave it, and so on,” he emphasized.
Regarding the international community's reaction, Hovhannisyan mentioned that the reactions from civilized nations to Azerbaijan's atrocities and the use of prohibited weapons are quite pertinent, and our relevant bodies are dealing with this issue. “However, it should be noted that yesterday and today, Stepanakert and other cities in Artsakh have been subjected to artillery shelling with cluster munitions several times,” Hovhannisyan pointed out.
The Ministry of Defense representative also stated that information about casualties would be provided after clarification, without any delay.
