Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Sends Large-Scale Humanitarian Aid to Artsakh
In response to the urgent needs of the civilian population in Artsakh amidst a state of military emergency, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has transferred a substantial amount of humanitarian aid to the Republic of Artsakh. This assistance, aimed at addressing the basic needs of the population and resolving domestic issues for those in temporary shelters, includes food, hygiene supplies, and various other resources.
The humanitarian assistance arrived in Artsakh on October 1 and is valued at approximately 145 million AMD.
It is important to remember that in light of the military operations initiated by armed units of the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh on the morning of September 27, 2020, including the use of artillery, air forces (including drones), armored vehicles, and other military units, civilian areas have also been targeted, including the capital city of Stepanakert and its residents. As a result of these actions, the Republic of Armenia declared a state of military emergency and initiated a general mobilization.
