‘Zhoghovourd’: Mainly, it was Nikol Pashinyan who spoke. Details from the meeting of ‘My Step’ and the Prime Minister
According to the ‘Zhoghovourd’ daily, the meeting between the ‘My Step’ faction of the National Assembly and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took place in a calm atmosphere yesterday. According to our information, Prime Minister Pashinyan predominantly spoke during the meeting and covered all the 'top' topics currently under discussion.
We learned that the Prime Minister also addressed the issue of the unification of the Constitutional Court and the Court of Cassation, the educational standards, the exploitation of the Amulsar mine, and even discussed the recent heated protests and the prevailing situation in Belarus.
Pashinyan stated that they need to have discussions with their team regarding all these issues. On the other hand, the members of the ‘My Step’ faction were mainly in the role of listeners, although some questions were raised during the meeting, to which Pashinyan responded in general terms.
It is noteworthy that the meeting lasted two hours, after which Pashinyan left and declined to answer questions from journalists.
