Zakharova Calls Story of Detention of 33 Russians in Minsk a Provocation by a Third Country

The story of the detention of 33 citizens of the Russian Federation is a planned provocation by a third country. This was stated on Saturday by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, at the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum 'Space of Meanings', as reported by TASS.

"The information space was shaken at least a week ago regarding the arrest of 33 Russian citizens in Belarus. This whole story was presented almost as a special operation by the Russian side to send some specially prepared individuals with the aim of destabilizing our neighboring country. And what turned out after verification? It turned out that it was a provocation by a third country, as is now evident based on the facts," she said.
