MP Claims There Were Bystanders Among Those Detained Outside Government Building
MP Nazeni Baghdasaryan from the "My Step" faction stated: "Police actions should focus on maintaining public order and be proportional. However, what happened today in front of the Government building remains problematic and unclear to me in several respects. According to my information, more than ten citizens have been detained, who were participants in the protest action. Unfortunately, among those detained were also bystanders who happened to be there, as well as human rights defenders present to protect the interests of the protesters. I hope the police will provide an official clarification that will shed light on the situation and allow us to understand what occurred."
