Ukrainian Hostess Assaulted and Attempted Rape on 'Mariupol-Kyiv' Train in Front of Son

On the 'Mariupol-Kyiv' train, a woman was assaulted and an attempt was made to rape her. The details of the incident and information about the assailant were published on Facebook by Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko, as reported by UNN.

"The scoundrel who beat and attempted to rape Anastasia Lugovaya on the 'Mariupol-Kyiv' train last night has been apprehended today. The police and prosecutor's office are preparing charges for inflicting medium bodily harm and attempted rape. The police and prosecutor's office will appeal to the court to choose custody without bail as a preventive measure, as this person poses a danger to society," Gerashchenko stated.

It was noted that Vitaly Rudzko, born in 1975, hails from Zaporizhzhia and has been convicted three times (for car theft, hooliganism, and robbery).

“From a safety perspective, it would be appropriate for security personnel to escort passenger trains along major routes on a paid basis,” the Deputy Minister concluded.

Later, hostess Anastasia Lugovaya posted a video on her Instagram account recounting the incident and attached a photo showing the aftermath of the attack. She shared that the criminal beat her and attempted to rape her in front of her young son.
