The Chief of Staff Issues a Statement: Violations Have Decreased
In the fight against the spread of the new type of coronavirus, the enforcement of established regulations plays a vital role, with significant attention given to supervisory bodies. To date, a total of 54,013 inspections have been conducted by these supervisory authorities. During the same period, decisions have been made to suspend the activities of 4,669 organizations for violations of the established norms.
Inspections are carried out every day of the week, including nighttime hours depending on the nature of the operator's activities. All entities being inspected are provided with consultations and immediate instructions for rectifying violations.
As a result of ongoing efforts, the number of recorded violations has decreased, thereby reducing the number of suspension orders. For instance, during the first ten days of June, 6,842 inspections resulted in 1,339 violations (19.6%), whereas in the same period in July, 7,491 inspections led to only 377 violations (5%), as noted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Emergency Situations Department, Tigran Avinyan, on his Facebook page.
