Discussion on Increasing Flight Numbers: Avinyan to Marukyan
During today's extraordinary session of the National Assembly, LHK leader Edmon Marukyan asked the Deputy Prime Minister about the difficulties faced by citizens returning to Armenia from Russia in their own vehicles. "What is the source of this restriction—ours, Georgian, or Russian? And why has the government not been able to resolve this issue to allow our citizens to return home with their belongings?" Marukyan inquired.
In response, Avinyan stated, "This is not solely a matter for the Armenian government to decide. We are doing our best to address the issues faced by all citizens wishing to return to Armenia. This issue has many components that are not only connected to us." He also noted that the question of increasing flight numbers is under discussion. "Today, discussions are already underway regarding increasing the number of flights to provide our compatriots with broader opportunities to return in a timely manner."
