National Security Service Detains Over 10 HHK Activists, Says Ashot Andreasian
The National Security Service (NSS) has initiated the implementation of a political order against HHK activists. On July 10, the NSS detained more than 10 HHK activists. This was reported on the Facebook page of Ashot Andreasian, the president of the party's youth union.
He specifically wrote, “Yesterday (July 10, 2020), around 10:00 am, employees of the National Security Service, accompanied by the head of the NSS in Artik, forcibly detained more than 10 HHK activists in their cars. After traveling approximately 105 kilometers for about an hour, the citizens were held for over 10 hours in the offices of investigators in the investigative department of the NSS in Yerevan. During these 10 hours, unknown investigators created a atmosphere of intimidation to fully carry out their political orders and extract desired testimonies from those detained.
