Yengibaryan Denies Reports of Attending Parliamentary Sessions While Infected with Coronavirus
Victor Yengibaryan, a member of the My Step parliamentary faction, has denied reports suggesting that he attended parliamentary sessions while infected with coronavirus. In a post on his Facebook page, he stated, "One media outlet has spread false accusations, claiming that I was aware of my COVID-19 infection before stating so publicly and attended the parliamentary sessions while being infected. Unfortunately, several other media outlets and individuals have, let’s say, deliberately spread false news without verifying the information. I call on the source to immediately retract this claim, and I urge others not to disseminate falsehoods and information that is evidently defamatory."
Yengibaryan explained that he exhibited symptoms on the evening of June 22, took a test on the 23rd, and has been self-isolating since then.
