Political Consultations Between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan

On June 19, political consultations were held at the level of deputy foreign ministers between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan via videoconference.

During the consultations, the deputy foreign ministers of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, Shavarsh Kocharian and Azizbek Madmarov, discussed the prospects for enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation, emphasizing several issues on the regional and international agenda that present mutual interest.

The discussions also covered the potential for deepening trade, economic, and humanitarian ties between the two countries, highlighting the importance of organizing the planned meeting of the intergovernmental commission.

Both sides underscored the importance of conducting regular consultations at various levels and between different departments of the foreign ministries.
