The head of the meteorological center of Armenia's Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gagik Surenyan, shared photos taken during lightning strikes in Abovyan on his Facebook page, noting: “Abovyan’s sky last night, 18.06.2020. Know that during a strike, the strength of electricity can reach up to 100,000 amps, with voltages ranging from tens of millions to billions of volts.”
