VIDEO: Police Forces Gathered Near Parliament Before Vote on Tsarukyan's Immunity
Police forces have gathered near the National Assembly ahead of the vote regarding the lifting of MP Gagik Tsarukyan's parliamentary immunity.
It is noted that yesterday, the President of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, issued a statement announcing: “According to Article 108, Part 1 of the Constitutional Law of the National Assembly, I inform you that I have received a request from the RA Prosecutor General to grant consent for the initiation of criminal prosecution against the Member of the National Assembly, Gagik Kolya Tsarukyan, and for the deprivation of liberty of MP Gagik Kolya Tsarukyan. The issue has been included in the agenda of the upcoming session starting on June 15.”
