Father Forgets His 2 Children in Car in the US, They Are Found Dead
Two young children have died in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after their father left them locked in a car for five hours. The man has been arrested, according to a report from Fox23 citing law enforcement authorities.
Thirty-one-year-old Dustin Lee Dennis told the police that he had gone to a store with the children on Saturday around noon and then returned home to take a nap. Upon waking up nearly five hours later, he realized that he could not find the children.
Later, he found his 4-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son on the floor of the pickup and took them home. Arriving medical personnel confirmed that the children had died. The cause of their death has yet to be determined.
“The children were not checked on for almost five hours while inside the vehicle,” the police stated.
The man has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently in custody. Local meteorologists report that the temperature in the city exceeded 30 degrees Celsius that day.
