Director of the National Gallery Announces Termination of Powers

The Director of the National Gallery of Armenia, Arman Tsaturyan, announces the termination of his powers.

“Dear employees of the National Gallery of Armenia, from tomorrow, I am terminating my powers as the Director of the National Gallery. I thank my colleagues and employees for the collaboration and work achieved over these five years.

I have said more than once: 'The best works of art should find their place in the National Gallery.' Preserving all the values, what is in the National Gallery's collection is an inseparable part of the museum.

Continue to work, create, and strive for excellence. The mother museum of the country is an extremely serious institution, a cultural entity. Over the years, there have been significant achievements, important exhibitions abroad that have allowed us to showcase our own art and culture, as well as numerous exhibitions, conferences, and important lectures organized internally.

We have had completely renovated halls, storage rooms, and so on. Together with my colleagues, I have had the honor to organize the exhibition dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the renowned marine painter. This list can continue…
