State of Emergency to Be Extended for Another Month, Prime Minister
Yesterday, Armenia recorded 566 new cases of coronavirus, which essentially reflects how we adhered to anti-epidemic regulations in the Republic 7-14 days ago. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press briefing.
"We are convinced that compliance with the anti-epidemic rules established and proposed by us will lead to a zeroing of cases. I want to reiterate that the level of adherence to these rules will yield results in 7-14 days, since the incubation period of the disease is 7-14 days," Pashinyan noted.
Pashinyan added that an extraordinary government session will take place tomorrow, during which a decision will be made to extend the state of emergency for another month.
