Nurse Enters Patient Room in Transparent Medical Attire Due to Heat in Tula

A nurse entered a patient room wearing transparent protective medical attire. The incident occurred in the hospital of the Tula Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, where citizens infected with the coronavirus are isolated.

According to reports from govoritmoskva.ru, the nurse donned the outfit due to the heat in the country, as working in full protective gear under such conditions became nearly impossible.

The incident was commented on by the nurse, who stated that she had not calculated that the medical suit would be completely see-through. The local health ministry confirmed that the employee had received a reprimand.

“A disciplinary measure in the form of a reprimand has been applied to the nurse,” said the ministry, adding that an explanatory conversation would be held with the medical staff. Additionally, control over the use of special clothing and personal protective equipment has been intensified at the hospital.
