A tragic mistake occurred during military exercises in the Gulf of Oman. Iran's Jamaran destroyer mistakenly struck its own vessel. Reports indicate that there are between 20 to 40 fatalities and several dozen injuries. An official confirmation of the incident has yet to be made.
