Turkey Establishes New Military Base in Idlib
The Turkish army has established a new military base in the Jebel Zawiya area of southern Idlib province, Syria. Despite an agreement reached between Russia and Turkey in Moscow regarding the situation in Idlib and the established ceasefire, military movements continue in Idlib, reports ermenihaber.am.
The Turkish armed forces have announced the establishment of a new military base in the town of Bassamiyah, Idlib. Turkish military has also stated that a convoy loaded with armored vehicles has been dispatched to the area.
Additionally, the Turkish army has deployed reconnaissance drones in the vicinity of Idlib and Aleppo. It is noteworthy that since the ceasefire was established on March 5, the Turkish armed forces have set up 10 military bases in Idlib.
