Driver of Opel Crashes into Rocks in Aragatsotn and Ends Up in Field; Hospitalized
On April 10, a car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Shortly after 12:30 PM, in the Narik neighborhood at the outskirts of Ashtarak, on the Ashtarak-Echmiadzin highway, in the administrative area of Sasunik village, 46-year-old Mher A. lost control of his Opel vehicle, veered off the roadway, crashed into rocks, and ended up in a field. According to the source, as a result of the accident, the driver was rescued by firefighters from the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who arrived on the scene swiftly. He was then transported to the 'Ashtarak' medical center.
Officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd battalion of the Patrol Service, led by platoon commander Vache Malakyan and squad commander Grant Galstyan, also arrived at the scene. Investigations into the incident are underway.
The rescuers have disconnected the vehicle's battery, shut off the gas tank valve, and cordoned off the area.
