54-Year-Old Man Arriving in Armenia Refuses Coronavirus Test, Threatens Suicide
According to Shamshyan.com, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan on April 8. Around 12:00 PM, the operational management center of the Yerevan police received a call that a man at one of the hotels in Yerevan was threatening the doctors providing him assistance.
The operational group of the Central Police Department arrived at the hotel complex and determined that the man was 54-year-old Gh.A. from Aragatsotn Province, who had arrived from the Russian Federation days earlier. He had refused to take a coronavirus test and threatened to commit suicide with a knife he had if he was not allowed to attend his wife’s funeral.
Investigative materials are being prepared in the Central Police Department regarding the incident.
