The Sad Consequences of Unauthorized Construction: Thousands of Citizens Left Without Water

“Veolia Water” has published a video on its Facebook page titled “Emergency Incident: The Sad Consequences of Unauthorized Construction.”

It turns out that the owner of a garage built on our water line, dissatisfied with the existing conditions, decided to dig deeper for a car repair pit. After hitting once, hitting twice, he damaged a 150mm diameter water line running underneath the building. The water quickly flooded the garage and flowed out onto the street. Upon reaching the raised alarm from the property owner, Veolia Water LLC’s 'North' operation section was forced to close the main water supply line feeding the entire region, thus unintentionally depriving the residents of the 4th district and Jruvazh village of water. Thousands of citizens are now left without water due to the unauthorized actions in the illegally constructed garage. 'North' has set aside its other work to start emergency repair operations,” the video states.
