Prosecutor's Office Announces Facebook User's Information is Inaccurate: Babayan
The Prosecutor's Office has announced that the information contained in a Facebook user's post has been verified and found to be inaccurate. This was stated by Arsen Babayan, the former deputy head of the National Assembly's staff, on his Facebook page.
“The Prosecutor's Office has informed that this information has been verified and found to be false. This citizen, in fact, lied,” wrote Babayan.
It is noteworthy that the Facebook user claimed that representatives of the “NO” campaign were offering pensioners 5000 dram each.
Recall that Arsen Babayan had published a statement noting that the General Prosecutor's Office accepted the declaration as a report of a crime and undertook urgent and necessary measures according to criminal procedure to uncover and hold accountable those involved in the alleged crime.
