Urgent Call for Citizens in Italy to Halt Travel and Return to Armenia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia calls on Armenian citizens currently in Italy to immediately halt their travels and return to Armenia. The message specifically states: "Considering the measures announced by the Italian authorities to prevent the spread of the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19), we urge Armenian citizens to refrain from traveling to Italy, and those currently in Italy to immediately cease their journey and return to Armenia.
We also encourage Armenian citizens to maintain constant contact with the Armenian Embassy in Italy." As previously reported, a quarantine has been imposed throughout Italy starting today.
