City Hall Employee in Abovyan Hits 5th Grader with Toyota
On March 2, an accident occurred in the Kotayk province. Around 2:00 PM, a resident of Abovyan, 44-year-old Karen Grigoryan, hit an 11-year-old pedestrian, Suzanne B., with his Toyota Camry, license plate 35 LQ 015, on Elari Street in Abovyan.
According to Shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene and helped the child get to the Abovyan Medical Center, after which he contacted the Kotayk police.
According to G. Shamshyan, driver Karen Grigoryan works in the city hall of Abovyan as a second-level specialist in the urban planning department, while the child involved in the incident attends Abovyan's Basic School No. 2. The child's life and health are not in danger.
