That Woman Will Become a Victim of the Same Absurd Tug-of-War: Zareh Sinanyan
After today's government meeting, the Chief Commissioner of the Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, responded to journalists' inquiries regarding the Prime Minister's directive to address the situation of a repatriated citizen who had sent a letter to the Prime Minister. Sinanyan stated, "We are diagnosing the flawed nature of the process and proposing solutions based on that. We will present a comprehensive new program. I should note that the woman is currently in Armenia to receive her citizenship papers, and she will become a victim of the same absurd tug-of-war because her parents were born in Bulgaria, she was born in the USA, and her surname is not the same as it is on her birth certificate. And because of that, she has to run around."
