Fourth Passenger of Diamond Princess Dies from Coronavirus in Japan
The fourth passenger on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which has been quarantined near the Japanese coast, has died from the coronavirus. This was announced on Tuesday, February 25, by NHK World.
According to reports, the deceased was approximately 80 years old.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Japan has reached 851, with the majority—691 individuals—being passengers and crew members aboard the ship. The vessel has been quarantined for more than two weeks in the Yokohama port.
