Azerbaijani Armed Forces Open Fire on Armenian Positions; Armenian Soldier Injured, Says Defense Ministry Spokesperson

Yesterday, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on the combat positions of the Armed Forces of Armenia. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, who noted that an Armenian soldier was injured as a result of the gunfire, but the injury is light and poses no threat to his life.

Hovhannisyan added that the Azerbaijani fire ceased following retaliatory fire from Armenian forces.
