Grandmaster Arman Mikayelyan is among the leaders of the Prague Chess Tournament. In the seventh round of the open competition of the Prague Chess Festival taking place in the Czech Republic, Mikayelyan achieved victory by defeating Czech player Richard Bilek. With this win, Mikayelyan now has 6 points and is one of the top three contenders.
The Prague International Chess Festival features a total of 13 events, including 10 round-robin tournaments, 1 open tournament, as well as quick and blitz competitions. The main Masters tournament includes 10 renowned grandmasters, while the open tournament involves 248 chess players from 35 countries.
