26-Year-Old Receives Captain Title, Angering State Revenue Committee Employees
The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: "We had previously informed that last year, in just four months, the grandson of the assistant to Serzh Sargsyan, who was promoted from head of the State Revenue Committee's main operational department to deputy head, Tigran Zakaryan's son, Narek Zakaryan, was dismissed from his position and appointed at a lower level as an inspector.
However, the president of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, did not allow the younger Zakaryan to be disappointed by the demotion and recently issued another order granting Narek Zakaryan the title of tax service captain. For comparison, it should be noted that longtime employees of the State Revenue Committee do not achieve this title even after 10 or more years of service.
This fact has outraged many State Revenue Committee employees, who are upset that a 26-year-old can receive the captain title early, while they could not. The title also implies a salary increase, and of course, substantial bonuses in the State Revenue Committee. It is said that Ananyan has expressed his gratitude to the Zakaryans in this way, as he owes them as well." For more details, refer to today’s issue of the newspaper.
