There Is No Law in Turkey, No One Is Protected: Karo Paylan
Karo Paylan, an Armenian MP from Turkey's pro-Kurdish party, made a post on Twitter regarding the trial of the "Gezi Park" activists.
Paylan wrote: "Those who want everything to go well in Turkey have managed to convince Erdoğan that the defendants in the "Gezi Park" case should be acquitted. However, a criminal group that does not want everything to be settled in Turkey has convinced Erdoğan that Osman Kavala should continue to remain in custody. There is no law in this country, no one is protected."
It is worth noting that all defendants in the "Gezi Park" trial were acquitted, yet renowned Turkish human rights defender Osman Kavala was re-arrested in court, this time in connection with the 2016 coup attempt case.
