Iran Confirms Two Cases of Coronavirus Infection in the Country
The Iranian government has confirmed information regarding two cases of coronavirus infection in the country. This was reported by the government’s official representative, Ali Rabiei.
“A few minutes ago, the Minister of Health, citing reports from ministry specialists, announced that there were positive diagnoses in two suspected coronavirus cases in Qom,” Rabiei wrote on Twitter.
Previously, the Iranian Ministry of Health had reported two potential cases of coronavirus infection in the country. This concerned initial analysis results. “Preliminary analyses of the sent samples have been conducted to check for infection with the new coronavirus. In both cases, the results were positive,” a representative of the Ministry of Health stated, according to RIA Novosti.
