Turkey Sends Additional Armored Vehicles to Syria
Recently, the atmosphere in Syria has intensified between Turkish forces and the Syrian government troops. The sides continue to threaten each other with retaliatory military operations, reports Ermenihaber.
Against this backdrop, Turkey continues to send additional military equipment to its observation posts in Syria. According to the Turkish side, the purpose of sending Turkish soldiers and reinforcing military equipment to the southern and eastern regions of Idlib province in Syria is to "protect its observation posts in Syria and prevent the flow of refugees into Turkey." It is noted that a convoy loaded with armored vehicles has already crossed the Turkish-Syrian border.
It is worth reminding that in the last two weeks, as a result of shelling by the Syrian government army in Idlib province, 13 Turkish servicemen have been killed.
